First Holy Communion 2023

Fr Peter, in consultion with the school, has arranged the dates for the sacrament of First Holy Communion to take place in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in May 2023. Saturday 6th May 2023 - Ms. Keating @10am Saturday 13th May 2023 - Ms. Costello @10am Saturday 20th May 2023 - Ms. O'Reilly @10am Saturday 27th May 2023 - Ms. Fitzmaurice @10am During the year, as the children prepare for the sacraments of Reconciliation (First Confession) and First Holy Communion, we will update the webiste with information, songs and prayers for each ceremony so the children can practise at home. Peter would like parents/ guardians of children who will be receiving the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion to complete and submit an "First Holy Communion Application/ Request Form"  via Google Forms by the 14th October 2022. Peter has also written this letter for parents/ guardians of children receiving the sacraments to read, which includes an invitation to attend a "Preparation Meeting" on Wednesday 9th November 2022 at 7.30 pm in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Firhouse. A short enrolment and commitment prayer service for will take place at the end of the meeting.
