World Book Day Slideshow

Take a look at how the staff and students from Scoil Carmel celebrated World Book Day 2023! Thank you to all the families who helped get the children ready in their wonderful costumes inspired by their favourite book characters. It was a joy to greet the children at the school gates and spend the day doing lots of fun activites to celebrate our shared love of books and learning how to read! A special thank you has to go to Ms. Brady and her 6th Class students from Scoil Treasa who came to read aloud to the children of Junior and Senior Infants. Ms. Brady is a past pupil of the school and Ms. Quinn was her teacher when she was in Scoil Carmel! As teachers it was such a pleasure to see our past pupils visiting and demonstrating their amazing reading skills and ability to work with our younger students. They did themselves and their school proud.
