May is the month of Mary.
Every year in school we have our May altar in honour of Mary.
During this month we remember Mary in a special way.
We can pray to Mary. The Hail Mary is a lovely prayer we can say.
When we pray the Rosary we remember in a special way the story of Jesus and Mary.
We remember how God chose Mary to be the Mother of Jesus.
Mary is our Mother too.
May 1st is also the Feast of St Joseph the Worker.
March 19th is the Feast of St Joseph, the husband of Mary.
Joseph was a very good and holy man. He cared for and loved Jesus and Mary.
He is a saint and we can pray to him too.
We call the family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, The Holy Family.
